Kurpil: Yatsenyuk to become a candidate for the President from the democratic forces
Author: Anna BezrodnayaThe statement that Viktor Yanukovych will become a president at the coming presidential elections and Yulia Tymoshenko will become a PM are somehow virtual as there is a year before the elections.
MP from the BYuT Stepan Kurpil told the IMC, commenting on the statement of the PR leader Viktor Yanukovych that he is ready to cooperate with the BYuT leader Yulia Tymoshenko in case he to be a President and she - a PM.
According to him, Yanukovych has support in particular in the east of Ukraine, but such support is not enough to become a president.
At the same time Kurpil said that Yanukovych can become a president only in case Yulia Tymoshenko does not participate in the election.
"But I also doubt that Yanukovych can become a president as democratic camp also can nominate another candidates, like Arseniy Yatsenyuk or anybody else," he summed up.
