Why do Ukrainian leaders prefer to play the oracle on TV, but not to answer questions?Hrynevetskyi: PACE is anxious about political crisis in Ukraine
I support the PACE which urged Ukrainian politicians on a tight timetable to find effective and acceptable decision to regulate political crisis
Serhiy Hrynevetskyi MP from the Bloc of Lytvyn told the IMC, commenting on the statement of the European diplomat that "last events in Ukraine have become the reason that the political crisis blocked the European prospective to our country".
He noted that Ukrainian politicians should remember April 19, 2007 when the resolution of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe was adopted.
"The PACE was anxious about political events in Ukraine after the first decree of President Viktor Yushchenko on parliament dismissal. The resolution was adopted, fixing that personal disputes and shortsighted competitions for personal benefits, connected with positions, led to different attempts of some political forces to use constitutional vacuum which appeared in January 2006 after disputable changes into the constitution which were adopted in 2004. And the PACE regretted that absence of independent alternatives enables main state organs to be beyond the law. And it seriously stained reputation of all political leaders of Ukraine. Although it was said more than a year ago, but it seems to be as today's words," he noted.
Serhiy Herynevetskyi reminded that today the PACE urged Ukrainian politicians on a tight timetable to find effective and acceptable decision to regulate the political crisis.
According to him, closed party lists and quota principles of distribution of executive branch of power are reasons of the political crisis.
"Is it possible to work so any longer? I even don't speak about rhetoric of statements which the President and the PM have exchanged," he added.
