Chechetov: OU-PSD is hostage of the wrong position of Yushchenko

MP from the Party of Regions Mykhaylo Chechetov commented for the IMC (InterMedia Consulting) joint voting of the BYuT, PR and CPU factions in the VRU.

According to him, majority of the MPs despite their political, ideological orientation are sane people.

"The sane people united today around the state interests, national priorities and real social-economic problems. The factions seemed to negotiate, except OU-PSD, but this faction is just a hostage of the wrong position of Yushchenko. The President stands for the wrong position in the Georgian question, and they can not draw back. They have destroyed coalition," the politician noted.

He believes that such problems as Holodomor as act of genocide or recognition of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army are put by those politicians who "go by the luxurious "Mercedes" cars with rich fur on".

"We postponed these questions and we are busy with real economic problems now. All important laws are voted by 300 voted at least. The parliament is working, the MPs are united for solving the problems promised to their electors. Our task was not make an enemy of Russia or recognize the UPA soldiers," Chechetov accentuated.

He considers that unity of the Parliament became possible dye to the position of the Party of Regions.

The politician thinks possible that the VRU will work in normal way and pass laws.
